There are times in our lives that we feel exhausted and lack sense of direction. We all experience dilemmas that can turn our lives upside down.
Fortunately, we are blessed with the ability to choose and to prove to the world that we are a winner! These problems or let me say CHALLENGES are a great opportunity for personal growth. Yes, they are a blessing we can use to improve our lives.
Instead of considering your problems as problems, believe that they are challenges and you have given the power to overcome them and achieve the state of self-fulfillment. Consider this is as your personal goal that requires your time and effort. Your parents, friends and mentors are there to help you, but in the end, you’re the one who will make the final decision and the final choice.
Let me share to you some tips to help you deal with life’s challenges and use them for personal growth:
1. Stop pretending that you are okay. Sometimes it's hard to be positive when your heart is screaming in pain. The first step is to accept it and release it. If you feel that you need to cry, go ahead. Find someone who can listen to you. Crying is not a sign of weakness. Let that pain flow through your tears to free yourself.
2. After releasing yourself from the negative emotion, it’s time to put yourself back together. The key here is to stay calm. Do everything you want to do to stay peaceful. This takes a lot of effort and discipline. But once you achieved the inner peace amidst the stressful situation, you are sure to face the challenges of your life. You are sure to solve any problems if your mind is clear and your heart is pure.
3. Don’t worry about what will happen tomorrow. Your concern now should be centered on what will happen today. If you let your mind wander on what will happen in the next days, you won’t be able to concentrate on what you can do today. Tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift – use it!
4. Learn from your past mistakes. If you don’t want to go through those same mistakes started by immature decisions, then it’s time to go straight forward and live by the lessons of the past.
5. Last but not the least - don’t underestimate the power of prayer.
Don’t take your life too seriously. In this world, a person who can beat the odds of life wins the game. You are not born a loser!
